Heliospectrum slays ten times harder. I wanted to like this, but man is it forgettable.

Heliospectrum is better agreed, but I just love the sound of this album. The guitars are great, and I love his vocals. It's a bit longer than it needs to be though, and the lyrics are pretty bad at times

I really like the instrumentation on here though. Its the vocalist that makes this forgettable. IMO his screams lack variety and his cleans just don't really command attention. If this were an instrumental album I'd probably 4 it.

I like how calm his cleans are, just something about them that catches my attention. I really like his lows too, but the instrumentation is for sure on a higher level than the vocals. Gravity and Echoes are killer

This album fuckin bangs. I kinda hated the vocalists style at first but it definitely grew on me. Very diverse, catchy and groovy album. These guys are keeping metalcore interesting

Hell yea dude, I love this album. The guitar work all throughout is pretty damn good, and I love the vocalist

I believe that they're done recording their second album, just needs to be mastered

This album is a 4.5 and so close to a 5 for me.

The guitar work is some of the best in the genre, more technical than tesseract and more intricate than periphery. (The way the guitarists play of each other is fantastic.)

The clean vocals are good, the screams take some getting used to.

The lyrics are sometimes really bad but I can forgive that as they are French - I'm sure in their future albums the lyrics will be better. It's like one of us writing lyrics in french, bound to be a few errors!

Some songs I do skip but the best songs are:

Gravity

Echoes

Souvenirs

Voyager

Antares

5:12 AM

The Lichtenberg Figure.

Can't wait for their new album.

Gravity, Echoes, and 5:12 AM are by far the best on the album imo

why are there so many of these lifeless vocalists in post hardcore/metalcore/whatever these days?

Some cornball ass shit on this, but it's pretty fun and has some good junz. Sounds like a tamer version of Erra.
