Agree that there are tracks here which soar over the others - Kill V Maim rules, Realiti has stuck-in-head-for-hours melodies going on, and Scream is such a badass track. Others just sorta wash on by, but I like the overall sound cultivated here, so this gets a higher rating from me, even if the whole thing isn't next-level great.

realiti, scream, world princess, butterfly, kill vs maim, flesh without blood, belly of the beat, venus fly, and life in the vivid dream are all so so good
this definitely trumps visions

i understand your 2.5 though. this is a poppier version of grimes and maybe you preferred the darker, more minimalistic approach of visions. but a 1.5 is just balls. i mean it certainly isn't a bad album, and despite people getting bent out of shape that this is poppier, it sure as hell is better than 90% of the pop i've heard

tbh the only tracks on here I dig are Belly Of The Beat, Easily, Realiti, and Butterfly. The other tracks range from boring, sugary pop or just plain annoying.
but agreed that this beats visions. Feel like the songwriting on here is WAY better
