I really love his work. He just really missed the mark here.

Great review. Listening to this now and yeah it's pretty bland, feeling a 2.5-3.

it's aesthetically pleasing sounds but it's not much more. If you have like twenty minutes where you're not listening to anything you could've listened to this and been a little better off.

Underwhelmed by this release. The loop pedal must stop. I do like the sound of the drums, though.

hard to disagree with anything here. None of these songs go anywhere, which is what I loved about Little Histories. The build ups were quite rewarding. He'll do better next time.

probably had a kid recently or something. based on how the artwork was done by his wife and him and how cutesy this release is it wouldn't suprise me

i wouldnt say hes gone soft at all. this kind of stuff is nothing new. he does both. subsume was one of the heaviest things hes done. little histories was kinda in between.

I've always enjoyed Cloudkicker more in my "shuffle" than in straight album listening anyway, so this still works for me. Though I think I see where bigger fans than me are coming from with their underwhelmed feelings for this record. It never actually gets anywhere. Just kinda strolls along.

Everything here just seems 'nice' to me, but barely above average. Relagated to good background music.

listening to this band on shuffle with Subsume in the mix has got to be a jarring experience whenever one of those songs pops on, heh. Those awkward song divisions, man.

Without a word of a lie, i've deleted this album from all my devices based purely on the album artwork. The music itself ain't too flash but good god that artwork. I mean there's Puscifer bad artwork (Conditions of my Parole), and then there's Woum bad. He'll never top Beacons anyway so let's pretend Woum never happened.

what a ridiculous reason for deleting an album.
