Review was well written, it's only that I've noticed couple of punctuation mistakes, but I'd need to re-read the review to retrace them, and I think you're not interested in correcting your reviews at all.

Also, at the first para, you surely meant Jeff Beck, not Jeff Back.

''Despite “Armageddon” be a great work of the 70’s, isn’t really...
This reads a bit weird, you may want to fix it...'' [2]

That album does nothing for me. It brings the headache though. And Relf vocals are pretty weak and low in the mix.

also with the summary:

" An obscure band from the 70’s resurrected by the ashes in the last years and which really deserves to be better known."

Thanks SharkTooth. I do not know how I didn't saw that. I've already changed that.

I don't know, Gentleman. It seems the album as a whole was uninteresting to my ear. Musicianship was ok, and couple of instrumental passages were ok as well but nothing more, thanks.

Jethro, of course I'm interested in correcting my reviews.

About Jeff Beck, of course it was a distraction.

About ''Despite “Armageddon” be a great work of the 70’s, isn’t really...", it was a silly mistake. What I want to tell is: "However and despite “Armageddon” be a great work of the 70’s, isn’t really an album that would sit comfortably alongside collections that are only comprised of blues albums or classical rock releases."

I've already changed both things.

About the album, I respect your opinion but I don't agree. Armageddon is a very good guitar album with some great tracks. Buzzard is a great opener with heavy guitar, great drumming and powerful bass. Silver Tightrope is a very beautiful ballad and has probably the most melodic singing Keith has ever done. Paths And Planes And Future Gains, pretty much continues where Buzzard left off and is full of amazing energy. I admit that the two last tracks are probably less good, more hard and less prog than the three previous. However, all in all, I sincerely think Armageddon is a very interesting work, a truly unique and unrelentingly heavy album.

''Despite “Armageddon” be a great work of the 70’s, isn’t really...'' still sounds weird, e21.

I'd rather say; ''Despite ''Armageddon'' is a great work of the 70's, it isn't really...''

As for the album, I'll give it another spin. I probably wasn't in a good mood for that kind of music.

All right man. And about your trilogy, I was sure you would cover an Illusion' album. I think these guys have more of the same sonorities as Renaissance.

No Jethro. I don't know very well their albums yet, and so I'm not prepared to review them now. However, my original idea was only to review Armageddon. As some Sputnik members talked about Renaissance Mk I, and there was any review of them, I remembered to do also both reviews and put them before Armageddon review. So, I did the review of Armageddon first. Probably it was the main reason I neglect a little more than the usual with the writing.

Your writing is all right, dude. Your reviews are overall well done. Your mistakes are far from doing the difference. Keep up the good work.

oh yeah! First song riffs hard like proto-NWOBHM. It's in 5/4 or whatevs but yeah not really any more prog than say Captain Beyond.

Thanks, Friday 13th. I'm very glad that due to my review one more person became knowing the existence of this álbum.

Yeah, you are right. This isn't properly a prog album. In reality, it has very little of prog. This is more a hard rock album. However, there is some great pages of music in it, which make of it a very interesting musical proposal to be known.

Cheers.
