Brand Name is a really intelligent song honestly. Also Chief Keef cracks me up on Cut the Check

The staggering 24-track behemoth told of drug-induced comas and depression, but more than that it showed how he was teetering on the edge between a rapper that opened his mind with drug experimentation and an addict that just so happens to rap.

bit of a mammoth sentence here. i feel like you could break it up around "but more".

other than that, review is gold

This album is his best work IMO. I'm not a big fan of BSP either, but you're dumb if you let that album be the reason you don't like this guy. You have to understand where he was at the point in his career... He did what he had to do and it got him a #1 album as an independent artist. All his good songs written that year ended up on the mixtape "Macadelic". BSP had a couple good ones like "missed calls" and "smile back" but overall yeah that's his worst record

Not impressed but it is an improvement. I will give it another chance tomorrow and maybe bump it up some.

He always reminded me of the rapper from the Always Sunny episode, 'Sweet Dee's Dating a Retard Person." Haven't heard anything from him in 3-4 years, though.
