Still not sure where this falls compared to the rest of 2015. It's unquestionably better than albums like the new SSPU and Chvrches, but I find myself listening to those more. And while it is objectively better than those, I'm not sure if it stands up to the new Tallest Man, Father John Misty, etc. It's going to be very interesting trying to sort out and rank all my 3.5 ' s and 4 ' s this December.

The best on here, imo, is "Waves," but this is still a mediocre album (By The Dear Hunter's standards). It wouldn't make it anywhere in my lists. Father John Misty's new one is definitely up there though.. But my favorite this year is the new Deafheaven >_

Night on the Town is pretty cool but it does drag on a bit too long in that middle portion. Red Hands is just overrated imo
