My Def Leppard antenna is up!
Fantastic - & succinct - review Arcade... Tbh, it doesn't make me want to listen to this any less. 'Throne' is excellent imo.

follow you starts out quite good but goes along at about the same standard of quality
i just gave this my first listen, its good and none of the songs are straight up awful but theyre all a bit middle of the roadish at points with brilliant moments interspersed throughout
feeling anywhere from a 3 to 4

^ That's pretty much what I thought, not sure about there being "brilliant" moments quite yet though. Drown is still the best for me.

Yeah, that part really stuck out as bad and cringy, there aren't many moments like that otherwise though

Lol this was not the direction I was hoping they would go for after Sempiternal. Hopefully later on they realize their mistake and get back on track. At least they didn't fuck up as bad as Of Mice & Men.

Great review as always.
Eagerly awaiting Snide's 5/5 AOTY review.

Wow. Had no idea the website's consensus on this band's best album is Sempiternal.
In that regard, not sure how people are surprised this is the direction they took. They've been moving this way for years now.
exactly
SS is still their best though imo
Run and True Friends are pretty bad

I don't think I'll bother with this album. Band peaked at There is a Hell.

It's a 3 at least...Doomed, Happy Song, Avalanche, Drown are good and even Oh No as well as True Friends & Throne started to grow on me.

So they went full radio rock? Man fuck this shit. That's so disappointing. Why didn't they just go forward as a full fledged post-hardcore band and dropping the metalcore influences? Sigh.

Pretty good. Some of it is very catchy. I'd probably give it a 3.5-4 if it weren't for tracks 2-6
