i had the same approach to the band as you, and i feel exactly the same. couldntve said it more accurately than you in your reviews . Been listening to them since the release of FoT (and only checked out tVoS quite a bit later) pretty much everyday and theyve become one of my favourite prog metal gigs.
also the production is fantastic in my opinion, better than FoT. Thats mostly because i thought FoT was a bit too dull and bassy. This really shines on a good pair of headphones and DAC.

probably, if it were reviewed by someone other than me. somehow i got a reputation for having bad taste in metal because i like the cheesy stuff occasionally, which i admit to being cheesy or wanky, but other than that my taste doesnt differ that much from most metalers on sput as far as the classics go
either way im glad theyre at least getting some recognition here
