I've never heard of this band, but damn that album art is beautiful. Listening to this now for the first time, liking it so far.

Riverside always had wonderful and twisted cover arts. Only one I don't dig is ADHD.

That's the one I like the most :-P. And you'll never get the answer for the ghost neg.
As for my rating, it's between a 3 and 3.5, but it'll probably end up at a 3.5. I know I'm whining about the album, but it is enjoyable. Just not as refreshing or risky as I was hoping for.

Apparently. It's a shame when people neg for no reason or don't explain themselves. I don't care much tbh, but c'mon, that's childish.
I know you love ADHD's cover, you've told me before. But it seems a bit generic to me.
If you don't mind, go to the site's official review of ADHD and see my last comment. Maybe you can answer it. I posted it today.

Review is pretty good, the first 2 paragraphs are a bit clumsy, and there's some awkward wording here and there but overall it's a good review. Might give this a go.

Yeah, I understand what you're saying. It's my first review after s long time, so I find it natural to be a bit awkward.

yeah the first two paragraphs strike me as total filler, taking long breaks between reviews really affect one's writing it's pretty crazy lol

First two paragraphs are the aftermath of my dire need to write reviews that have something *distinctive*, even if it's not a big deal. You could think of it as thinking aloud.

Average album, too much lyrical and missing percussive moments and memorable riffs, it does not take too much for me. Maybe it will need time to appreciate it ?
A little bit disappointed but still interested to see them live ...

I've never been much of a fan of the band, and although this is very unlikely to alter my opinion, this partially new direction does make for an interesting change, but still quite a safe one.
Although not aiming for the same stylistic results of course, Mariusz Duda's latest Lunatic Soul album was, to me, a much greater accomplishment.

Not liking this as much as the last one, but the last one was a big grower for me--maybe this one will be too.

Completely forgot about this release. Got it on spin now and loving it so far. Definitely a laid back sound (reminds me of playing tennis in the summer and I have no idea why) but still has some great riffs in there.

@Titan Oh that's a shame. I thought you'd give it a least a 3.0 - 3.5

Caterpillar and Barbed Wire is phenomenal. Easily one of this band's best songs to date.
