only thing keeping this from being at least a 4.5 for me is it seems a bit messy and therefore just a bit too abrasive



from what i hear it was sort of a mishmash of work the group did previously, explaining the somewhat lack of direction



aside from that, it's pretty great



i actually really like the lyrics too, very poetic, albeit sometimes a little too dark to the point of cheese

I love the lack of direction, it gives it a dreamlike state of "Wtf is going on"-ness, which makes sense because most of the songs were supposedly written in lucid dreams.
