Thwe only Sacramentum album I know is The Coming Of Chaos and it's not even remotely close to this one or the Somberlain. But it was rather bland. Yes, melodic, fast, dark and all, but too obvious, too little subtle...

Can the same band have released a detail rich masterpiece just a couple of years earlier?

part of what separated this band, at least as far as other ''dark'' bands was that the main songwriter really believed in what he was writing about, the guy literally died for his beliefs.



Some can say that's foolish but I kind of respect that, it's rare to meet someone like him.
