Maybe so but I'd say that less about this album than 2001...

That's a lame assessment, deezer. I dare you to scour my ratings for 'chart music.' There are some killer tracks on this album.

"I've been listening to this a lot. As a whole, I'd say it is as good or better than most hip-hop albums in recent memory"
Thats all I need to know about your taste. Thats one of the most ridiculous sentences Ive read on sputnik and the bar is quite high. Well done.

'Thats one of the most ridiculous sentences Ive read on sputnik and the bar is quite high'
Surely genuine opinion can't be labelled ridiculous, though?
Putting down something as fact where it clearly isn't, or making outlandish claims outside of your own spectrum can be ridiculous, but simply stating how you feel about something and how you rate it is surely down to the individual.
You may not agree with it, but opinion on a subjective art form (particularly when honestly voiced) is not wrong.

I've def heard many dumber things said this year alone.

If thats the case whats the point having a comments section?
I just listened to that Crazy town record I think it could be the greatest record of all time. Seriously. Dont comment thats its not. Cos thats just like my opinion maaaaan. If you dont agree just dont say anything. Only Creed pushes it close.

OK, I didn't say it to be combative, but run with it as you wish.
The comments section is surely for just that - comment and discussion - the Crazy Town thing could be your opinion, and I'm absolutely sure it would be challenged (not that I've listened to it), but you just outwardly said it was wrong without making anything as a counterpoint.
And the last para was just ridiculous as I clearly said 'opinion on an objective art form'.

And clearly you agree on the last point since you've already deleted it...

Yeah i just woke off of night shift an didnt take in the bottom.
What a boring place this would be if everyone had the same argument.
'well I cant be wrong cos thats my opinion' The whole database is people arguing their opinions. I dont give a shit what you opinion is Crazy town have not or will never release the greatest album of all time.
I didnt say It was 'wrong' I said it was 'ridiculous'
My assessment also cant be 'lame' as its just my opinion.
fuck this is boring.
Like this album.

I hope Danny Brown and the Flatbush Zombies drop something soon. I totally think they're due for some new material, they've been pretty quiet
