you blokes are living on the bloody moon, i mean yeah they hold their own, but i want some real operatic shit over the top of this instrumentation. Not these hokey, reedy, paper-thin, one-tonal beanstalk vocals. They're just not that impactful if ya know what i mean

I was kind of agreeing, but that is an adjective too far, sir.

Imagine Ghost with Bruce Dickinson singing. Like, 1986 Dickinson. That would be something interesting.

I've always really liked the vocals, though I wish he went crazier sometimes given the over-the-top humor of this band. Are they still together and making music? I saw a FB status asking for a bunch of extras to go to Detroit for something. Did they resolve all the legal troubles they were dealing with? I might've missed some details, last I heard the other guys were suing the frontman Papa Emeritus for holding out royalties or something.

there's a riff on Spirit that sounds EXACTLY like something you'd hear off Blackwater Park, noticed the first time I heard it and still do. Pointed it out to my friend and he agreed.

me neither but that's what draws most people's attention to this band in the first place. i don't consider them to be musically anything special
