Perfect example of a band trying hard, achieving absolutely nothing and sounding bored in the process. Even Temper Temper is more memorable than this homogeneous sludge.

I wanted to say I still think TT is way worse, but we're splitting hairs here, really

TT is offensively bad lol. But that's why I think it's more memorable than this.

No Way Out and Broken have grown on me a little bit actually, maybe this ones a slow burner...

I was wrong, this isn't too bad really. Definitely has some duds but there's fun to be had on here.

Army of Noise is the only decent thing here imo

No Way Out, Army of Noise, Worthless, Broken, Skin, Run for Your Life and Raising Hell are all decent tunes in my opinion. The rest are filler at best though, and that's what kills it. Need to axe a good chunk of these songs and it wouldn't feel like a complete slog.

this has its moments. raising hell was the song that dropped that made me think this band completely lost what I love about them tho.

That surprises me, I thought Raising Hell was one of the more enjoyable songs from this. The songs I really didn't like were The Harder The Heart and You Want a Battle (I just find them incredibly tacky sounding lol)

It felt like they were moving away from their emotionally-charged roots. Cool riffs but I wanted something I could feel more, particularly in the lyrics. The Harder The Heart is one of my favorites here tbh. You Want a Battle is whatever.
honestly i'm just glad Gravity and the self-titled really brought back the emotional lyrical content.

Yea, Raising Hell was fun. It's a bonus song though, I don't count it as part of the album

This album is actually a ton of fun, kinda hooked on it now lol. Far from revolutionary though, and cheesy. But they've always been like that, let's be honest.
