Cheers Sowing. Song for Josh I like in particular, the guy knows how to finish off an album, and it's easily one of his most heartfelt. I imagine him performing it live to be a pretty special thing to be a part of. Have you heard the acoustic versions on the extended edition? Some of them are better than the fleshed out tracks.

I think I'll either grow to really like this or think it's kinda crap. Sounds generally good on first listen though, Josephine and the first 4 are particularly good.

Don't discount the final 2 tracks. They're both on par with Mittens, which is the best track here.

Not such a fan for Silent Key, but Song for Josh is incredibly good. I'm surprised I've never listened to him before.

3. Silent Key 4.5/5
4. Get Better 4/5
5. Song For Josh 4/5

I love Get Better and Song for Josh, but after Tape Deck Heart, this feels like a letdown.

Josephine's actually probably my favourite on here.

I enjoy all his records, this might be equal with England keep my Bones as my favourite. Really really solid. Does anyone else hate the female vocals in Silent Key? Her voice grates.

nah man i reckon they make the song.
insanely enjoyable and REPLAYABLE record, but i couldn't call it "special" in any way shape or form.
