LYFSTYLEZZ is one of the most awesomely bad lyrics ever. XD It's the lyrical equivalent to a b-movie.



Sadly, it's one of the HIGH POINTS of that album. (Ok, i know i said Prince Charming was the worst of their career, but Invisible Kid comes damn close.)

if anyone actually made it through the putrid documentary that was Some Kind of Monster, they would see that allowing Kirk to write lyrics resulted in most of St. Anger's worst moments, specifically the lifestyle line. But yeah, Invisible Kid sucks.



also, Prince Charming is one of the few great songs on this album, but like Hans, I've never once payed attention to the lyrics. wait, is that the song where he's like "hey ma, look it's me!"

I agree with the review, Unforgiven II and Where the Wild Things Are are the best tracks hands down. I don't like Fuel or Memory Remains as much as most people do. I thought Fixxxer was great also.

Where the wild things are and fixxxer is great.
I also remember loving low man's lyric as a kid.

Fixxer is pretty good, it just about finishes the album on a decent note, same as Outlaw Torn did on Load.



How they churned out 27 tracks for the two albums is criminal really, this could've been one decent 12 track album by cutting out all the filler over the two.



Glad someone else mentioned the Invisible Kid, absolute shocking lyrics. Dishonourable mentions to "my lifestyle determines my deathstyle" and "love is a four letter word" as well.



Funny how the 20 year old pissed-up James wrote better lyrics than his older, wiser self...
