god i cant wait for this album tommorow...i...am...so...pumped
great review, but i wish you would've described Fleas playing in this album more, as IMO he is essential to RHCP.
I really want to hear how John sounds on this album though after reading this...

I described Flea enough, in my opinion. He really only just holds down the groove with little to no flash. The most you can hear his bass is on Readymade.

Excitement courses through my veins.

Isn't that called an erection?

Not necessarily. He could just have an accelerated heartbeat. In any case, you're just being an idiot. This Message Edited On 05.08.06

I wasn't describing an erection. Not that I don't have one.

Dani California is just alright for me, Some of the bass in it is really good, but after listening to some of their other stuff it just seems sorta tired. Maybe it's just cause it gets played so freakin' much.
Anyway, good review Ent.

The problem that I see with Dani is that it's a streamlined funk song with a mainstream rock chorus. It's like mixing elephant maneur and taco shells.

Mainstream rock= Elephant Shit or Taco shells?

I'd say taco shells, because even thoguh elephant crap is repulsive, at least it's interesting.

Shouldn't a so-called "magnum opus" at least have decent album art.

Me and Entwistle were just talking about that actually.

Shouldn't a so-called "question" have a question mark.
I want another sexy album cover like Mother's Milk.

It looks like it's from the show Third Rock From the Sun.
