album of the year derision is one thing i've never understood, i love all but like two or three tracks on that
this one ain't bad either, definitely an aural/aesthetic follow-up to the aforementioned record (of the year), @ least from where i'm standing!

I like most of Album of the Year, it's just overall weaker.
I mean "Collision" "Mouth to Mouth" and "Ashes to Ashes" are some of my favorite FNM songs. :P

Time makes a tune 'classic', instant classics hardly exist anymore and I wasn't expecting Patton & co. to be able to make one after 25+ years in the industry

I think that this is a solid comeback album, but it's nothing exceptional by any means. I'd want to hear a gig full of older songs as opposed to hearing any of this material.
