Yeah, they were really in their heyday with Shipwreck and This is How but I feel like with this last effort they just sound exhausted. I figured they would do something really neat with both "Toronto" songs but they it doesn't seem to go anywhere.

"For years, Silverstein has been one of the most consistent, creative, and energetic post hardcore bands around."

if by that you mean consistently uninteresting and bland then i agree

Shipwreck has better standouts, this is better overall.

toronto - unabridged is fantastic. for the most part it's just another silverstein album, but there are some really great moments

^Pretty much.

Also, I agree about this being one of their better balanced albums between their heavy and not so heavy sides.

Je Me Souviens is my least favourite so far and it's still solid.

pretty solid record. the opening track and the "in the dark" verse riff are the most standout things so far for me.

i highly recommend spotify man. there's a free app, and they get singles/albums streaming on there before the release date sometimes. honestly the only way i listen to music outside of my vinyl records these days is throuh spotify, it's just so convenient
