listening to The Great escape right now

That one rules, but Mercy Falls is their best. There's a bit of cheese to stomach in all of their music but they're phenomenal musicians.

Tommy was the right replacement for Roy imo, he fits really well with Kamelot.

Khan is better with Kamelot, Tommy is better with Seventh Wonder [2]
But I much prefer Tommy, one of my fav vocalists in general.

I think this is Tommy's best perormance. There's a lot more show-off moments on the Seventh Wonder albums (especially Great Escape), but he's much more emotive on here.

enjoying this a lot more.....3.5 coming

this IS his best vocal performance, but he still need to grow a little more into the style.
Khan is better for me , cannot beat his early Kamelot and Conception era.

His best performance would be taking the best parts from Seventh Wonder and mixing them with the Kamelot style, which hasn't completely happened just yet.

Even though I do like Under Grey Skies all in all (despite it being max. level cheese, jesus - does anyone remember the time when Kamelot could be super theatrical without being cheesy?), I still think that Charlotte's unnecessarily whiny guest performance on that song is the biggest flaw of this album. Couldn't they have gotten Sharon Den Adel or Marcela Bovio (that would have been amazing!) for that song? They have much more fitting voices, as in warmer and cleaner, so not as pale in comparison to Tommy, who's once again the total boss of that song.

It'll be fun and hopefully not overly similar to this one.

"does anyone remember the time when Kamelot could be super theatrical without being cheesy?"
Epica and The Black Halo, Karma was more straight forward power metal

I've changed my mind on Citizen Zero. It's actually grown on me quite a bit.
