I enjoy most of it. It's not representative of the band's genius though. If this was the first thing I heard from the band I probably wouldn't bother to go any deeper into the discog.

yeah im not really liking this as much as i did when i first listened. its good, its just that some of it sounds really half-assed. like On the Way would be one of the best songs theyve ever written if it werent for those first two boring bridges and the outro. and All Our Songs is awesome, but then it ends with this lame "guitar solo" that isnt really a guitar solo, its just the beginning of a guitar solo and then never does anything else.

I agree.

I think it's a pretty good album, but it is my least favorite of theirs.

This suffers the same issue I have with There Is No Enemy. You have some absolutely killer tracks, but there's so far few in-between. The rest feel like inoffensive lullabies that take up most of the album's length. This feels and sounds like a Built To Spill album, but it's just not as exciting as their earlier ones. It's still solid though; and I'm glad they're making occasional great songs for me to listen to.

i don't really have a problem with this cuz i jammed it nonstop when the record came out, i mean it's upbeat, it's catchy, all the shit i need

but yea some songs just feel uninspired
