^ Pretty much every other grunge record beats Nevermind, possibly one of the most overrated albums of all time. Don't get me wrong,I like Nirvana and all but they weren't that good. Soundgarden and Pearl Jam were better bands.

Superunknown: The title track of this album is by far my favorite track on the whole album. The guitar work is a series of diddies in the verse, and the verse itself is structured so that the end of every line has Cornell screaming in the way he does better than almost anyone I've ever heard. ("...it doesn't mean you're BLIIIIIIIIND" "...it doesn't mean you've DIIIIIIIIED"). If you don't have the album, download this track to tide yourself over. You can't wait for him to finish the chorus the second time through with "SOOOOOUUUUUUULLLLLLLL... unh."

...lol

More accessible than the albums they made before, but quality-wise as good as bodmotorfinger, classic for sure.

"head down" is my favorite album-track, there are no bad songs on the album, even though the album lasts 70+ '

Decent album but Cornell's songwriting didn't fully blossom until Scream.

^Absolutely, completely wrong. Ten is one of the most overrated albums ever. The songwriting on Superunknown is way superior to anything PJ ever did

every song on Ten is a classic whereas, every song on Superunknown is not.

Another lol worthy statement. There's some really mediocre music on Ten. Vedder's vocals manage to redeem a lot of the weaker material, but if you really think shit like Why Go is classic then whatever.

Its probably just because i have a strong dislike for Soundgarden/Chris Cornell, but i prefer PJ more.

Amazing how all the radio hits outshine (no pun intended) the even better songs on this record. Even though, the hits are great

songs, the songs like "Mailman," "Limo Wreck," "4th of July," and "Like Suicide" are some of the best songs these guys wrote.
