I bet The Nautilus has a sick sound system. Just imagine listening to Descending while ramming a warship.

The first metal cd I ever bought. Walked over an hour and a half in a blizzard just to get it. That feeling of hearing the pot the first time and looking up at the wall of snow falling down is easily my first euphoric experience with music lol

this album is frustrating, it has this massive vibe going for it but then pokes holes in itself throughout the runtime...and almost takes pleasure in doing so? idk having trouble w/ words rn

there's something about this that just doesn't land but it comes soooo close, it's like they were trying to merge different Tool eras but couldn't fully commit

Glad that resonated with someone! I’ve come back ‘round to jamming tool again lately and i still have a lot of fun with the less than perfect moments..i really like right in two, always have!..but the choppiness of the album’s impact is a big struggle for me
