Oh, I love He Is Legend. Wish I would have found out about them way sooner than I did
This was the comp that got me into a bunch of stuff I would have otherwise probs never heard of when I was younger

T'n'N was a big part of my younger years, too. I was in a youth group for a bit so I think that was how I got started on them. I don't know if I really dug into Solid State much until later on

I still have them all somewhere. Even after 15+ years I never really tired of this stuff.

Same. Some bands I've taken out of rotation, but so many are still there. Especially now that I am revisiting a lot of my "Emo" years, so a lot of these bands have come back into play.

"BOI, that label (and its sister/mirror Solid State) is responsible for SO MUCH of my music taste. Basically the 30% that wasn't spawned from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, lol. Anberlin, Emery, He Is Legend, Underoath, Demon Hunter, Norma Jean, Blindside, Dead Poetic, Far-Less, The Classic Crime...man, the DAYS!"
masochist are you literally me
you even namedropped Far-Less, who I have never heard get ANY attention even on this site

He is Legend's newer stuff has its supporters but yeah it's all I am Hollywood for me
that and Either They Decorated, which is one of my favorite -core songs period

He Is Legend is the band I've seen the most live (6 times, I think now). I enjoy each of their albums, though some more than others. My favorite is a tie between 'I Am Hollywood' and 'It Hates You'...can't figure out which one I like better. And 'few' is phenomenal too.
'91025' is the one that I can't get into, for some reason. BUT..."Either They Decorated..." is the song that got me into the band, and I still absolutely love that one.

"Far-Less"
Just really found out about them within the last 6 months or so, all of their albums are so good.
I downloaded their 2007 alb in 2008ish and never fucking listened to it. I was going thru my entire library to make a huge playlist and came up on them, slept on the band for like 13 years

That song is a classic. I also have a soft spot for You Sound Like a White Boy

Also, I love the acoustic thingy at the end of Hoax
I always think I am gonna get sick of listening to 5 min of pretty much the same lone guitar arpeggio but it is just so peaceful

Yeah I hadn't heard of them either, but apparently they've been on a few samplers I have so I've listened to them before. Listening now and definitely liking it.
