this guy is incredible, I loved Disperse's most recent record and I'm looking forward to giving this a spin. Nice review =D

I haven't quite figured out how much I like this record. Will have to listen for a better opinion, but I'm guessing it's at least a 3.5. Repeated listens are needed to see if it gets higher.

It's so damn varied. It's "nothing" more than Jakub's playground for new styles, yeah. But there's really a lot of interesting ideas here (and some forgettable ones, agreed).

Well, it's half slightly experimental melodic prog metal and half boring as fuck heavy djent.

To be fair he djents hard only on two tracks, "Satya's" tbh it's one hell of a trip. There's more stuff in there than in all Korea discog. lol
I was writing a review for it and in the end realised I was just being too overcritical. There's too much good quality meat on Zytecki's grill to give this a 3 imho

Am I the only one who thinks Majin sounds a lot like Huge Hammers from The Safety Fire? The riffs sounds a lot like it.

Mmh..eh. It's kind of generic as a riff, could be anything and nothing. It just does its job (which is, hitting hard)

This is so damn good. Such an enjoyable listening experience. Might be digging this more than Plini's stuff

There's a lot of good and interesting stuff past the djents, but it's pretty hard to look past them initially. Even after I still prefer the second half, I think. "Yellow" is great.

this album is amazing without a doubt the best 'djent' album this year. Take notes periphery..
'Cold' is my fav.

Sublime work by Zytecki, album flows wonderfully.

boring

Satya's Diary ftw...

I hate djent so some of this pisses me off but some of it is too good
|
| |
Aka the non djenty bits
|
| |
I hate this guy. It's unfair for someone to be 23 and this talented. See also: Plini, Sithu, Micic.

Micic is god
|
| |
They all are, but Micic and Zytecki are probably the most powerful. It's hard to argue with Europeans when it comes to Tech-anything.
|
| |
Funny you say that, because those two guys are about the only modern 'djent' artists I like, along with scale the summit. Love the way they infuse really 'bright' melodies into their works
|
| |
It's easy to see why. Micic worships Townsend...or at least appears to. He has a mile wide Townsend-ian streak of weirdness and humour running through his music, but somehow manages to never sacrifice songcraft for it.
But Zytecki has unbelievable chops. Just ridiculous.
