dude has all the different instrument tracks isolated. cool to listen to the guitar, bass, drums, and keys tracks on their own.

75% of their shit is already instrumental, given the song lengths and how sparse the vocals tend to be

Yeah, it’s not really a great curiosity for the most part & taking away vox where they’re intended would just dilute the formula. It would still ‘sound like them’ to anyone with even a vague familiarity of their work.

Hot tip: you can hear the instrumentals at the same time as the vox, it’s right here. Seriously though, what’s the point? Are the vox THAT annoying to you?

Apologies to that other guy though, he was clearly messing around. Went all crazy for a minute there, been on the sauce...

I mean I'm always up for hearing isolated tracks, instrumentals and stuff like that just because it's interesting, but you really can't compare the instrumentals to original versions in any way because the songs were obviously written with vocal lines and melodies in mind. if Mike were to write instrumental version of say Ghost Perdition, I'm sure it would sound a lot different.

but yea I'd love to find more metal songs without drums so it would sound cooler when I make a drum cover of it, but drums are like the hardest to remove from the song because of the frequency range it covers so I'm not really expecting to find that much of them.

on the sauce too rn demon, cheers!
