Lol you guys. One reason was so I can play their music for friends and family who aren’t into extreme metal but can appreciate all the other aspects of their sound.

I also just enjoy audio editing and was using this as an exercise to get better at it. I did the same with maudlin of the Well and Kayo Dot, The Contortionist, Agalloch, Deafheaven, some Alcest, and the album Winter by Fen. A lot of this was during covid when I had lots of free time, before I got my current job.

It all started with simply editing out all the conversations and clapping at the end of each song in the album The King of Limbs: Live from the Basement by Radiohead.
