I remember the days when I put this next to Lateralus as one of my top albums LMAO. I feel I should write a letter of apology to Tool.
Anyways, the lyrics on this are simply terrible, sorry, and the hi-fi clear growling only makes the whole thing sound sterile. They're trying really hard to be gothic here so the lack of atmosphere on this record is baffling to me, since they did it much better in the past.
