One of the four Opeth records that could be considered their best.

GR -> SL -> MAYH -> BWP (I don't agree with BWP but I'm in the minority)?

I'm in that minority too, mine are Morningrise, MAYH, GR and Heritage.

We are all in a minority if we look long enough.

Jammed this today to help break my seemingly never-ending new release cycle and man did it feel good.

don't listen to new releases, there's too much good old stuff waiting for you to discover it

That’s the plan this year Source. Keeping up with new releases is draining and usually results in negligible gains. I did admittedly find some stellar stuff, but how much of it will stick long-term? Not much I’d imagine.

what you should do is comb through every rym list you kind find. they are the best way of finding good music imo

I don’t need help finding stuff at the minute, my backlog is insane. I need help fitting it all in. Good thing I’m an immortal demon that eventually respawns if slain.

Thinking about taking it more slowly with new releases this year too, there's so much to discover in years past.

If a band I already like drops something new then I’ll check, otherwise I’m completely uninterested... well, that’s the current plan anyway. How long do you think I’ll last? Ha.

I think Queensryche probably accounts for like 20% of my total listening. Old stuff has a way of getting better the more you listen to it, somehow.
