I'm torn between a 4.5 and 5 This album is depressing without making the listener feel depressed and is so listenable. I had this album on repeat nearly the entire day when I got the leak a few weeks back. Very complete album.



Personally I would have a hard time picking between Illinois, Adz, and this because they are all so incredibly different.

Good album but not his best. I still prefer "Illinois" and "Age of Adz" over this. This album isn't that ambitious like the others. I think Sufjan can make an album like this in his sleep.
