Album's a 5. I think it'll have great impact on hip-hop. But who knows as of now?

Honestly, I don't think it'll really impact shit, and I don't think this is quite as important of an album for hip-hop as people are labeling it as.
One mainstream rapper making a political statement in 2015 (with good, maybe even really good, music behind it) is a pleasant surprise, but to me, this is just a perfect example of context being more important to an album's reception than the album itself.

"It'll impact the world just as much as good kid maad city did."
Exactly, which is not that much. Just because something gets tons of praise doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be that influential.

Oh of course, like I doubt that good kid maad city did much to lower gang culture involvement

GKMC is like Kendrick's Aquemini, and I think that this album is his Stankonia tbh.

I doubt this will ever grow off me. I've basically been listening to this record non-stop since it came out. I'd listen to other stuff every now and then, but this has constantly been in my CD player in my Jeep.
