Eh there was literally only one song and hook I thought was really good on DBD, there were at least 4 or 5 on ember for me

So Cold is still so good
Definitely one of the all time great "radio metal" tracks

This, Saturate and Phobia are all very good for their style

For sure. I would say even Dear Agony is pretty damn good too. They were a solid band, it's everyone jumped ship and now Ben is working with a bunch of dudes that essentially equate to jobbers.

It's a cliche, but for plenty of bands it does ring true: once you get too big, it becomes business over band
The funny thing is though that for most of these their live shows live off the songs they wrote when they were still more of a band than a business

Definitely does. The first and only time I saw them was back in '06. They mostly played from WANA. First time I moshed and crowd surfed too. Lost my glasses at one point and some dude that looked like my math teacher lifted me up from the pit after getting thrashed about by grown men. Never forget surfing the crowd to 'so cold' and seeing Ben get amped up and really sing. This album holds a special place.

So bland and lukewarm, holy shit. This is the most "pity 3.5 cause I listened to it on my way home from school" band ever.
So Cold is alright though.
