Album Rating: 2.5
at least follow thru, the tea disclaimer is such a weak cop out

Was in a more GKMC mood for a while but now I’m feelin this again
shout out to the mixing of the instrumentation because there is so much going on yet every part sounds clear and well balanced, not an easy task on an album this massive

Yeah but I legit enjoy listening to all of those albums lol
They dont have like random ass interludes and whatnot
|
| |
Album Rating: 5.0
What qualifies a "random ass interlude"? Have you heard old school rap records? Interludes and even skits are tradition. To add to that, the vocal snippets of the poem and pretty much all of the lyrics give the album a thematic, narrative through line, despite the songs themselves being more vignettes. And the interlude-y tracks are very well composed, and have enough flourishes and information to justify themselves and be full songs.

| |
Album Rating: 4.5
literally can’t think of an example of interludes that are more purposeful than the ones on this album. plus the best song on the album is an interlude

Album Rating: 4.0
This is the album that should've won a pulitzer, not Damn
