this album is a creative masterpiece yes, and damn kinda stumbles as an album, but damn fits playlists better. You have to put your thinking cap on to listen to this album, and I'm not always in that mood. I think damn (and MAAD CITY) tap into the pleasure principle a little more.

not confusing at all, this is a behemoth of a concept album filled with super tight and interesting songwriting with damn good lyrics, his flow is on point, great use of features, and well-placed sections of jazz/funk/soul. don't make me write another thesis about this, I'll do it.
