honestly because this band was such a big part of my musical history i could listen to literally any song incl. Portnoy and enjoy it... and just about know it note for note

Oddly enough, their three greatest albums all have an extra share of unashamed cheesiness (it only ever gets insufferable in a few tracks from Metropolis in my opinion though)

Yeah, DT can be very cheesy in most of their records, but this fact doesn't affect that much, imo, to consider them great. The only track I've never dug from this one is the opener, rest is gold.
