haha. I could definitely see that some. Mew was great for a few records.



Overall to me this feels like a mashup of meshuggah, deftones, and depeche mode. At first it didn't feel like everything meshed, but the more I listen to it, the better it gets. It's always one half-step away from crossing over into forgettable djent but keeps its balance and maintains my interest. Very well done.

it took me multiple listens but at first I wasn't that hot on it either, but after several listens it just kept growing on me and all the parts that I wasn't sold on at first really meshed for me. Went from a questionable 3-3.5 on first listen to a solid 4 after a half dozen.

Yeah I definitely enjoyed this. Never been a massive fan of the djenty sound but mostly because most bands in that genre seem to rehash each others' ideas. This, however, puts more emphasis on dreamy, large songwriting so I can really appreciate it. Possibly because it reminds me of Mew. Damn I love that band..
