Its not great but it doesn't suck. Un sandipiper's a great song.
...back to how awesome Sky Valley is.
This album is unbelievable. I have had it in and out of my CD player for so long and every time its still a joy to listen to. Theres just so many great tracks, pretty much all of them would be highlights on any other CD. My favourites would have to be Whitewater, Demon Cleaner and Supa Scoop.
Great review too.

I've only got Wretch and I hate it. I still want to give these guys another chance though because I'm convinced they can do better.

Great album. And since I don't have the actual album yet, just mp3s, I can easily skip to any song I like.
Take that you album-buying squares.

Wretch really is their worst album, the production just isn't up to it. Not to mention the fact that they recorded it when they were 17.
Props on the Natas references in the thread. :D You all should check out Toba Trance I & II, they're really bloody good, II is probably the best CD released this year.

Wretch really was Kyuss in high school, they even had their own doubts about releasing the album. They believed that they had matured as a band and that the album wasn't a fair looka t the band's potential. In fact, if you have some time to kill, check out the Kyuss Retrospective at Roadburn.com. It's the closest we'll ever get to a 'behind the music' style documentary I'm afraid.
I did a project for my spanish four class on Natas last year, I brought in Toba Trance II for that one... My class didn't appreciate good music when they heard it though. Most of them were geeks anyways.
