I like this album just as much as Faceless, yet again like on the faceless album there is not one song that i would not want to listen too. Oh and you didnt mention "Safe and Sound" which is the hidden track at the end of "One Rainy Day", just thought i'd point it out. It's a great track, its just that if you have the CD in your car there is a lot of wait time where you just hear slight rain before "Safe and Sound" starts.

I just started getting into Godsmack with this album. I liked their radio songs from the earlier stuff but this is the first full album I've gotten and I think it's pretty awesome. The review was pretty good. Obviously I don't fully agree with everything said but a review is only an opinion anyways. I just wanted to point out that the effect on Livin' In Sin is a flanger not a phaser. But anyways, this is a rockin' album and I freakin' love the harmonica on Shine Down. That's quite a twist for a band like Godsmack.

Blegh, just heard Speak. Bland, unoriginal, boring and repetitive are some of the words that come to mind. If it really is one of the better songs on this album then I'm gonna hate this album.

speak is definately not the best song on the album... the best songs are probably Mama, Livin in Sin, Shine down, Voodoo Too, and One Rainy Day... well in my opinion

Yeah, I know I didn't cover the hidden tracks, because I've only heard one of them, once. Yes, I said tracks, because there's one for the Best Buy copies, called "Safe And Sound", and one for the Target copies, called "I Thought". I've only heard the Target one, and once isn't nough to review. When I get time, I'll do a mini-review on both.

vlad123dracula in the cd booklet on IV as well as every other godsmack album it says 4 string thing which is the bass and drums and concussions
it's a good album but not as good as faceless. it's a little better than Awake

"Godsmack" was their only good album. They slowly deteriorated after that..

You can always tell how good a band really is when they grow like godsmack did between Faceless and IV.

Decent review. This album is ok if you are a godsmack fan, but I'm only into stuff that shows exceptional musicianship. The crappy solos are just way too terrible for me... i mean a kid who has been playing guitar for a year could improvise that crap. some of the solos on the other CD's by these guys are really hard to play, but at least the solos in this cd are catchy
