northern: haha that's awesome. and idk if i'd say it's hard to relate to something with this theme (especially for me). i don't want to put a damper on things here, i've had several people very close to me die last year and it was very obvious to me that they didn't want to die and had no idea what was happening to them. i've witnessed these things happen more than i'd like to admit, and so i've seen that disconnect firsthand. it won't be true of everyone's death, but it has merit. over 80% of cancer patients get diagnosed without any prior inclination of having it (certain types of cancer, that is). it seems like there's a whole lot that can go wrong with the human body, seemingly out of nowhere and with little to no warning.

anyway, thanks for the feedback, guys. i'm glad to see that at least a couple people dig this album

Just discovered this band, this is some really awesome stuff. It is a horror film in your ears, fuck, Abandon is downright scary.

It's a morbid curiosity, kind of like watching something decompose. You're not sure if you like it, but you can't help being interested in it.

noice assumptions, you also forgot the added Sacred Bones street cred.
In any case I'd avoid this kind of logic tbh, to me it's rather arrogant and low to demean people's enjoyement of a record by making the assumptions that they are dishonest with their own pleasure to artifically consolidate your own opposing opinion

Mutal dude. Being able to sputnik and find new music more frequently kind of makes up for my lax schedule atm. Seasonal shifts ftl.
