So this is heavier than Solace and Sines?
If so then I'm definitely checking this soon

I hope they stick around for a while. Cause just when you think they won't release something as good as Malachite or Everything All Of The TIme, they pull Emergent and Harmonia out of their asses. So impressive.

Finally this album gets better and better. Few weeks ago I wasn't ready for it or any other newly discovered band or album.
I'm glad I feel better now and my head isn't as full anymore. Now I finally feel the atmosphere of this album and I like post-rock albums that are autumnal.
I think it's not quite as melancholic and sad as Hammock - Kenotic and Bark Psychosis - Hex. I don't know many post-rock albums but I love the very sad ones.

Great band ...Good album - Solace and Sines are better.

Also I like the atmosphere of "Skew...aard" in the first 3:30 minutes. So it's not that bad. And I like the ending section of it too.
This album is the typical grower album. Sometimes I need time with an album to understand it and to let the atmosphere sink in and unfold.
And for me atmosphere is important in post-rock music, it doesn't need to be constantly heavy and distorted but on Cale:Drew it's mostly well done, like in Semaphore or the short heavy part in Controle.
But I'm still glad the heavy distorted parts aren't the main parts on this album.
