I'm gonna have to concur with that 1, but there's parts that aren't bad. However, none of them have any lasting value because, not only are they fairly weak on their own, but they're ultimately too short to warrant the replays that a really good single usually would:
- "Can't Deny It" has a good riff, even if the chorus is bad.
- "Fazed Out" is an alright song overall.
- "Blue By You" is surprisingly good but completely out of step with the rest of the album.
- "Love Lasso" has some interesting ideas but doesn't go anywhere.
- Everything else is terrible.
My biggest problem with this album is that, by mixing rap rock and this particular style of hardcore, their music is decidedly focused on riffs and grooves, but they're really bad at writing for both of those aspects. The writing process on so many songs just feels like one or two bars of random chords plastered together, then repeated over a simple drum beat. There needs to be something more to make good rap rock or hardcore or music, plainly. Additionally, this band cannot write choruses.
