Oh good! That would mean I could finally post a review for Taylor Swift's Speak Now! (Although spoiler: I still have the same rating for it now as I did then!)

Because it has so many facets and thus it's unhabitual figure one does need quite a few spins to get ahold of it as a whole.

"lollllll I think we all pass judgement on albums too quickly.
there should be a five year required waiting period after an album is released before reviews can begin being posted."
reading comprehension. that's not what I said.

Yeah alright, sounds fair.

During the first listen things started to get hazy after the midpoint, but it really hit home on the second listen. Her voice is amazing and the restraint and meandering structures are highly enjoyable for me, there is a very organic and engaging feel to a piece of this piece of art. I love it :D

Uggggghh I can't put this down. It's definitely more of a 4.5 for me, but I want to wait to see how it holds
up. Chorus in Under Knees, Understand is just too perfectly sinuous, her voice is too good

So glad you like it, it's definitely a difficult record to "get addicted to" right away because it isn't really all that memorable, but once it clicks it stays lodged in your mind for good.

There's definitely an emotional element to her vocals and the music that keeps me coming back to. Very relaxing, fits nicely for winter temperatures when you're stuck inside thinking over things too much.
So sad to see this only get 15 ratings on here, even with the feature

Growing on me more with each listen--It's the album's atmosphere as much as it is the music.

I know this was from like four months ago but I wasn't saying that's what you said

This still sounds great, but not nearly as exotic as I remember it. Either folk music has gotten more experimental since 2015, or I have.
