One of the best songs from here and one of the best performances from Tour 14, incredible piece of art :]

Also, it was surreal seeing them play Cage on Tou14. Just doesn't work for them these days. lol Toshiya's bass playing is very flash but comes out generic.

Hmm, I think the whole album turned out well at that gig; hasn't felt dated to me.

" Just doesn't work for them these days."
Couldn't disagree more, they killed it on that song and for the most part the entire gig. IMO the only song that didn't translate well was Raison.

Then jam Tour 14 Gauze so you can have the best of both worlds. Also bumping DSS too ;)

Don't get me wrong, they played it well and all that, but it's like a lot of their early material, it can come across dated. Even though Cage is awesome, it does sound dated. Probably the most dated on Gauze anyway.

Macabre is dated, Kisou is dated...Gauze is timeless. Plus live they have the magic ability to make almost everything sound emotional and as good as ever (especally Ain't Afraid to Die).

Parts of Kisou are rather timeless for me.

Parts of it true but tracks like Jessica and Filth were dated the day they were released.
