This is probably their weakest album, but that sure as hell doesn't mean it's bad. HCDR has some of my all-time favorite CoB songs and seems to nail a vibe that none of the other albums have touched. I (heart) this album.This Message Edited On 12.12.05

Yeah, this is the band's weakest release to date. It's still a great album, but it's got more low points than any other album so far.
Bodom Beach Terror still remains to be the best CoB song to date though. I can't get enough of that song.

dont make it your favorite album, its far from mine. But its still good. Still doesnt compare to Hatebreeder or FTR but i just cant get enough of most of the songs on here. great album, this and AYDY show that bodom show no signs of slowing down any time soon

Yeah, except for Alexi's utterly annoying voice. And his massive ego.
Seriously, they'd be a truly great band if they had a singer who could actually scream properly, not just shriek shrilly like a little girl clutching a downed powerline.
I'm coming off too harsh here, I really dig these guys musically, and Alexi is a great guitarist, but his vocals...nope, sorry, let me just go shoot myself in the ear instead.

Yeah uhuh, lets shoot ourselves in the ear so that way we can't hear the music that we dig instrumentaly, good plan. But seriously, Alexi has a better voice then some people screaming nowadays (Alex Varkatzas, Matt Heafy).
Is it just me or are some of the analogies to screaming pretty dumb lately. :rolleyes:

ye this album is pretty good, still not as good as FTR or Hatebreeder
but a few ppl here are hatin on that part in needled 247 where they say its a drum mahcine or wutever, i love that part alot cuz it actualy has a pretty kickass bassline with synth that u dont hear to often from bodom.
and i rly dont thnik thats a drum mahcine lol

i got follow the reaper and it was AMAZING. now im planning on getting this one but im just wondering, is it longer than ftr? That one was pretty short for a metal cd.

Nevermind my last comment. I just got the cd. Its GREAT! But mine doesnt have Silent Scream on it.  Not quite as good as FTR but still definately worth picking up.
