I never gave this band 1 bit of attention except for The Long Road which was meh. I also listened

to DH which was... horrible.

If this has more electropop and less shitty postgrunge, then I could see this being on the same level of quality as foo fighters.

Nicely written review but I disagree that "this is a step towards the right direction".

The final third its simply unbearable. Especially "The hammer comin down"; I thought it was listening to Nightwish.

So there's no 'hi I'm here to rape you' tracks this time out?

I find this hard to believe.

"use to" should be "used to" and "suppose to" should be "supposed to". Not a bad review, man. Keep going.

This band was huge for me as a kid--they actually got me into rock music and inspired me to become a musician to some degree. Their earlier albums, including Curb, The State, Silver Side Up, and The Long Road, are actually awesome, awesome records.

Seriously. You can hate on this band as much as you want, but I think that they put out some of the best pop infused rock of the early 2000's, and were essential to the growth of the rock genre as a whole, for better or worse. Even if I don't support what they're doing nowadays, I'll dig those albums forever.

That's a bad thing?

This review is more of a track-by-track than anything else, really surprised that it got featured.

And just like that, I'm done.

What in the FUCK are the two tracks What Are You Waiting for and She Keeps Me Up? And that Flo Rida feature?

As if Nickelback couldn't possibly get ANY worse.

If Flo Rida wasn't on that track it would be a great tune. I'm not sure what they were thinking there.
