Album Rating: 3.5 | Sound Off
this band makes a lot of very proggy moves, and the album/band names are amongst them
|
| |
ok no ones mentioned that this sounds like shite modern prog a la periphery or animals or leaders or w/e
lame
|
| |
at least in the guitars
|
| |
i tried to listen to this but holy shit that godawful production
i don't know why so many of these technical bands just brickwall all the subtlety and fidelity out of their music and ruin any of the good songwriting hiding beneath it

Still better than the new In Flames though
|
| |
Many things are Toondude. Like a papercut on the eyelid.
|
| |
The question is, what's worser than the new In Flames? From this year ofcourse.

Nickelback, Theory of a Deadman, Black Veil Brides, Thousand Foot Krutch, Seether, Skrillex
All of which had releases this year. It may not be saying much, but hell I'd prefer the new In Flames album than these losers.

Well yeah, true, good point.

"ok no ones mentioned that this sounds like shite modern prog a la periphery or animals or leaders or w/e"
yea, even the review was totally misleading for me
|
| |
Seriously reminds me of Fear Factory in some areas
|
| |
I really like it so far after hearing the first 3 tracks. It took 6 years to make according to their bandcamp.

This is way too densely-produced for me to really enjoy it, but I do quite like "The Way".
