Finally trying this. It starts off well but there's sooo much material and I'm already exhausted. Don't really want to finish it honestly.

I'm on Eyes of the dead, so maybe. Might just listen to the other half in a few days or something

The best songs are Ghosts, Beneath the Silt, Game Over, Sail into the Black, Eyes of the Dead, and Now We Die. Everything else is either OK or just skippable

Now We Die is my fave and it's the first song. I almost 3'd it but the first half is pretty solid. Being a bit generous with the rating. It's just that there are way too many songs and most of them are too long, even by MH standards. There's a reason Locust had seven songs and the Blackening had eight.

Long Knives is awesome although I hate that title, why would they name that the night the SS killed the SA (pre-WWII)?

yeah that's weird. They wrote a song about a specific historic event, but named it after another historic event. it sounds cooler than a potential title like "The manson murders" would have doe

The vocals were kind of annoying in long knives. They didn't seem so bad on second listen though

After listening to this too many times, I am now exhausted. Gonna move to something happier.

Unto the Locust was pretty dull, can't see this not being so as well.
