Idk man, I liked this album a lot. It's no The Earth Pushed Back but I think it's better than a 3

The Earth Pushed Back is much better than this, but this is still far from bad. My biggest issue with it is that I had already listened to the tracks from their split with Daisyhead and then Spacecrafts and Howl when they came out. Then when listening to this, I just felt like I had already heard a lot of it before and there were only a few new songs that I felt weren't filler tracks. Again it's certainly not bad, I just expected more after an album as good as The Earth Pushed Back.

Didn't like this record the first time I heard it but it's grown on me quite a bit. There's two filler songs on this album but that was the case on their debut in my opinion. All in all, this record falls into comparison to 'The Earth Pushed Back'. Definitely more of a simpler record and missing the elements from their debut which I believe is a 4.5-5.0 even though there was two filler tracks because the other songs were just THAT damn good.

Agree with this review, the first album was far better. This is still good, but to me it lost a lot of what made the first album great, just to make them more catchy. Shame.

i can see why people don't really like it, jumping from topshelf to hopeless is a pretty risky move
