yeah album covers not great but it's not that bad. Vol.3 had decent art, and the special edition of IOWA had cool art.

Correct review for a staggering album

The production on this seriously ruins some of the killer riffs that pop up every now and then.

I gave this a little too much credit at first. I just thought it would be completely awful, so I was surprised when it wasn't, but I think now that it has to be their worst.

Definitely their worst. It's just sad that nothing about it wants to make me revisit it

Seems to lack any genuine ferocity, and there's only so many mechanical whirrs a guy can take before it becomes annoying. I hoped I'd at least feel alright towards this.

They seem to be more worried about replicating the past then blazing a new future.

Comon guys this isint that bad. It totally shits on Korn's attempted "comeback album" as well as Linkin Park's.

You're right, it isn't bad, but it also isn't great. It's average.

Slipknot are still polarizing. Interesting.

Once these guys release another new album in the next four-to-five years, I predict that they'll bitch about this being better than that. See a pattern here?

The Hunting Party > this

Nah. This is better than Hunting Party, but at the same time, that's not a major accomplishment.

Perhaps they've always been shite, and it's just my hyper-edge-teen nostalgia coming out when I say that Iowa was better than this.

one of my friends is a big fan of these guys and made me listen to one of the songs, not my thing tbh

Which one?

No way Aaron. Iowa has angst out the asshole for sure, and at times it can be a little much, but at least Iowa had genuine
anger and passion. I don't really hear that here.
