To me right now this is their best overall. I find Holographic Universe to have a lot of filler, even if it's still a great album.

HU is a great album overall, but agreed that some songs on it are not up to par and there are some parts which I'm not in love with - a first when it comes to Scar Symmetry, since their first two albums are pretty much flawless to me. This one doesn't really have any disappointing moments per se either, which is a good thing.

That lead in the beginning and ending of Cryonic Harvest mmmmm so good

I predicted this would end up with a 3.6, glad to have made an accurate prediction.
I wouldn't mind it being cranked up to 3.7 over time, though. This album's really enjoyable.

To be fair, though, I'm kinda excited for Solution. 45's double album. I don't expect songwriting as good as here, but there's gonna be more material for one and I think the execution will be better.
